“We chose Valley Solar primarily for the battery backup system they could install with our ground array. After contracting, we were informed that MA regulations had changed and the battery couldn’t go in the available space — no communication about this until they came to look at the site. Valley Solar never returned after the property survey to mark the site or discuss where the array would stand, despite knowing we were very concerned about our view and sight lines. Communication throughout was spotty or nonexistent and invoices arrived without itemization. The technicians who came to do the work were great, but the administrative team and management are seriously lacking. A Valley Solar rep sent me a lengthy email disparaging a competing company by name — referencing their business being down 40%, calling their production estimates inflated and their tactics unethical.
