What Do Customers Say About the Blue Sky Energy?
Positive reviews:
“We had a very easy installation experience with the team at Blue Sky Energy. They went above and beyond in explaining and coordinating everything. We are left with a system that is beautifully installed and is overperforming the original estimates, and are extremely happy with their follow up and communication.” – GraceP ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 4, 2017
“The people at Blue Sky Energy are knowledgeable, helpful, professional, reliable, courteous, clean, and efficient. They handled every single detail from start to finish, making the entire process super easy for me. They kept me informed at every stage along the way (including photographs!), the quality of their workmanship was superior, and their pricing was very competitive. I have already referred them to some of my friends, and I highly recommend them! My husband and I are thrilled with our new solar installation!” – Dori ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 3, 2017
Negative reviews:
“Wasted a month with back and forth with this company. Only to find out after site visit, they didnt have the bandwidth. What the truth is, the project was too small. Thanks for wasting my time, awesome!” – Gino Sesto ⭐☆☆☆☆ October 19, 2022
Positive reviews:
“I am a proud to work for such a great group of people. I always feel heard and supported, and I have great benefits working at this company. This is a place I hope to be at for a very long time.” – Operations Specialist ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 23, 2024
“Working on building a winning team here in Springfield IL. The challenge is to instill the culture and then have everyone nuture it. The reward will be a solid foundation for us to build on.” – Manager ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 3, 2024
Negative reviews:
“Managers will constantly micromanage you, you will be overworked and underpaid. Tried to do more work for more pay and only got more work. They will pay for lunch once or twice a month so that’s cool I guess” – Inventory Clerk ⭐☆☆☆☆ December 16, 2024
“If you want to be on roofs or in Attics all day making less than 20 an hour then this job is for you. Be ready to be staying in hotels most of the time away from home because local work is few and far between. If you like never knowing the plan and being told everything last minute then you will love it here.” – Solar Technician ⭐☆☆☆☆ October 9, 2023
Positive reviews:
“Giving this company 4 Stars. They had issues with their sub contractors in the beginning but owner started to make good changes and re-allignment to fix the issues that caused many internal issues. CEO contacted and worked with me directly to makes things right and they are currently reaching to each customers that had issues previously. Before jumping to conclusions, there is always 2 sides of stories. I would have given BlueSky 5 stars if they didn’t have issues in the beginning because their product really works. Bernard Lewis, CEO is man of his words and delivered what he promised to do for our home solar project. I highly recommend this company, but definitely do your homework first. I am just happy we don’t have electric bill anymore and actually getting credits from PG&E for over producing which pays for our NEM charges and our Gas. The products works really well. All we are paying monthly now, is the Solar Loan. We were averaging $250-$300 monthly from PG&E. Now somewhere $100-$150 depending on how much we consume. Before working with BlueSky I actually already tried to work with other highly rated Solar Companies such as Sun Run from Costco and even with Tesla Solar. They just can’t beat the price I got from BlueSky and Panel and Parts quality I got. Tesla didn’t give me a refund for signing up and not delivering what was quoted. On top of that their customer sucks. Tesla supposed to be the cheapest and better but not what I experienced. They robbed of $250 and wasted my when they can’t even deliver what they quoted me on. Sunrun was overpriced and they pushing battery back up on me when I didn’t asked for it and they even tried proposing PPA on me. They didn’t already did my homework. They really just wasted my time.” – Genz Rangel ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 2024
Negative reviews:
“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I am a vendor that they use and they DO NOT PAY THEIR BILLS OR RETURN MESSAGES! If you get solar installed by this company you may get a lean put on your house by the companies providing product for your project that are not getting paid. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.” – Solarplacard Inc. ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2022
“Solar panels installed by Blue Sky 4 months ago, still not finished/working. DO NOT be their next victim, don’t respond to calls and guess what, nobody to help! Worthless company, but they got their money!” – Chuck Mosier ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2023
Summarizing:
Do We Recommend Blue Sky Energy Services?
Average Performer
Blue Sky Energy gets the Average Performer badge and works in 1 state, but their third-party ratings don’t go above 4. Local community trust isn’t their strong suit either – their score is 3.8 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While Blue Sky Energy may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add Blue Sky Energy to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.
