Positive reviews:

“David V. was phenomenal! I’ve had my system for over 10 years. I’m on a 6 month maintenance plan and have had different technicians out each time. David Valdivia reviewed my system. He was able to make some modifications to my system that will save me lot of money and have a much better quality air flow. Thank you David! You will be my forever technician!!!” – Lianne M. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 20, 2026

“We were in need of new ACs and furnace. I saw the ACTION truck in front of my neighbors house, so figured I’d give them a call. Joseph Lambert was our point of contact. He was great from start to finish. We felt the quote was reasonable and they were able to get the job done quickly! The installers were wonderful as well. Very knowledgeable and informative. If something came up jn the installation they explained it to us and helped us feel comfortable making decisions. We are so glad they made the process easy. We will continue to refer them and are enjoying our nice new system. Thank you guys!” – Bri V. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 13, 2026

Negative reviews:

“DO NOT USE ACTION HEATING AND AIR — SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE In September 2025, a technician from Action Heating and Air came to my home and caused a short circuit in my attic. Shortly after their work, sparks were coming out of electrical outlets upstairs. This was an extremely dangerous situation. I immediately called a licensed electrician, who told me I was lucky a fire did not start. I had no choice but to pay $688 out of pocket to correct the safety hazard that Action Heating and Air caused. It is now February 2026, and despite repeated attempts to resolve this reasonably, the company has refused to take accountability. Instead, they told me to “”have an attorney contact our legal team”” and to stop contacting them. That response alone should tell you everything you need to know about how they treat customers when something goes wrong. What’s especially frustrating is that they had no problem responding promptly when I paid them to install a new AC and furnace a few years ago. Once there was a serious issue involving safety and liability, they completely disengaged. This company put my home at risk and then walked away from it. DO NOT USE ACTION HEATING AND AIR AT ALL COSTS. Your safety and your home are not worth the gamble.” – Bennett S. ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 2, 2026

“I am writing this review in the hope that it will discourage you from ever getting involved with this company. I have just had a horrible experience with Action Air. I called them out to check my A/C as it was not getting cool. They sent a technician (David Valdivia) to come out and see what that could do to get it fixed. The technician reported that the system was empty of refrigerant and that he recommended recharging the system with fresh refrigerant and adding a sealant/dye product that would more than likely fix it. He was wrong as after 4 days I was back to square one with a broken system. I paid $2800.00 for this fix , I was charged $511:00 for each pound of refrigerant which as I have since found out is usually Max $150 per pound from other local HVAC companies in our area. ( price gouging) as I was told by other professionals. When I tried to contact Action Air management to voice my displeasure I was told that they don’t have a e mail directory of management and that was their policy. The long and short of it is please don’t trust this company they are the worst.” – Andrew W. ⭐☆☆☆☆ June 17, 2026

Negative reviews:

“About a year ago, I had a new heater installed along with new ductwork. Everything seemed fine until recently, when water got into the heater and damaged a controller part. That issue wasnt the companys fault. However, while the technician was here testing the heater, the power suddenly went out. We initially thought it was a breaker issue, but it wasnt.Even after checking and replacing breakers, the power still wouldnt come back on. Then, while we were standing at the heater, the power suddenly returned. Neither of us could figure out what was happening. After the technician finished and left, I had to call an electrician to investigate the wall outlets. The electrician found a loose wire inside a wire nut and replaced it. He told me the wire looked like it had been pulled or stepped on, which caused it to come loose. I havent been in the attic in over a year, the only people up there were Action Airs technicians when they removed the old ductwork and installed the new ductwork.I reported this to Action Air and sent them photos of the wiring issue along with the invoice for the repair.Their response was:Good morning REMOVED, REMOVEDteam has reviewed the photo and your invoice and have confirmed we will not be reimbursing you.The electricians repair cost was $200. Instead of doing the right thing and working with me on a reasonable solution, this is how they chose to treat a customer. Their technicians were the only ones in the attic, and its clear they inadvertently stepped on or pulled the wiring loose, an issue that could have caused a fire in my home.I also spoke wit ha manager, he was not very approachable, when I explained the entire process to him, he pushed it back me saying it was my fault for the previous electrical install that was not done properly. This is why I will never recommend or use Action Air again.” – Rick F ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 28, 2026

“REMOVEDDISHONEST COMPANYREMOVEDNo written or verbal estimate provided for cost of repair. They refused to apply the $79 diagnostic fee towards the repair as they stated they would. First REMOVEDtried to lie and state that the heat exchanger was cracked to make us replace the entire system when it only ended up being a doubled HVAC filter placed by tenant. $378 total paid for labor and to install a $6.37 MERV 8 HVAC filter. Then numerous wasted phone calls just to get the final invoices. Management will NOT return calls to address any concerns for the consumer so any response saying to contact their office is just another lie.” – Analisa C ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 5, 2025

Positive reviews:

“We have had two visits from Action Air Conditioning Heating & Solar. The first was to fix the air conditioning unit. Norberto did an excellent job identifying the problem, fixing it, and then providing service to the unit. More recently, Antonio provided maintenance on our furnace. Antonio was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He checked the functioning of every part of the furnace, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. I will definitely hire Action Air again.” – Kristine J. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 2025

“Action Air Conditioning Heating & Solar performed annual service on my HVAC heating system. Action Tech Nick performed an outstanding job. He conducted a detailed review of the work he performed and the condition of the HVAC. He was very happy with the work Nick performed. I highly recommend Nick.” – Lee S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 2024

Negative reviews:

“Action Air is horrible. I wish I had never hired them to install our a/c unit. We paid them over $23,000 to install a premium unit in our home. They were supposed to complete all the work on August 9th and 10th. The team appeared to have no idea what they were doing. They asked me numerous times where they were supposed to install larger vents. They did not know what size vents needed to go in each room. At one point they asked me to call the company and find out what they were supposed to do. They arrived late to start work both days. They worked until around 9:30 pm on the 10th. They said their work was done and that they were not coming back. However, they said the unit they installed could not be turned on and that it needed more work. They also did not bring the proper vent covers for two rooms, so they left the vent open with cardboard sticking out. When I called the company on the 11th, I was told the soonest they could complete the work would be in August 23rd. I have left the company numerous voice messages. My wife has left a manager numerous voice messages. My wife is an acupuncturist and she sees patients at our home. She has had to cancel all her scheduled patients until Action Air fixes the problem. This is the worst company. Their business model is awful. They should have had someone come to our home on the 11th and finish the job we paid for. We waited over a month for the installation. Do not do business with this company.” – Brad J. ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 2021

“Majid our technician was great and went above and beyond the service he provided. My issue is with Action Air as a company and it’s sales policy. After Majid’s inspection, he recommended that we install a surge protector to safeguard our furnace and AC unit. This would prevent the system from becoming overloaded and damaged in the event of a power surge or outage. I asked him why this wasn’t included in the initial build of our package seeing as how it would protect or $15,000 system from damage. Keep in mind, the AC system is not warranted due to power surge damage. Majid was super helpful but directed me to the service department. I called the service department and was helped by the service manager, who explained that they have been trying to ask the sales department to include it within the initial AC build but they continue to refuse. Their reasoning is that,…. “there are too many add ons to present to the customer.” Also, they purchase the system through a manufacturer who does not offer a surge protector. But Action Air sells the system, and the surge protector, and the warranty. Hmmmm This is my perspective (which means nothing). When you purchase a car you probably buy every warranty with the vehicle or the warranties that matter. Since my family is investing a LOT of money in this AC system I might want to purchase something that has umbrella coverage for the warranty or some small device that will protect it from an event that is not covered by the warranty? The surge protector= $300, our AC system= $15,000+, our monthly maintenance warranty $13, Action Air’s response= PRICELESS (I’m being sarcastic). Overall, I wish Action Air would change their policy or devote some attention to getting their sales and service departments to work together and provide the amazing level of customer service that I received from Majid.” – Sean U. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ August 2020

“Just had my A/C inspected by Oscar M. He was very professional, polite, courteous, meticulous and honest. He explained the condition of my unit, he never once pressure me on getting the issue done. He is also a very good educator of A/C, yes it’s his job, but he took the time explaining what the parts function and he also covered some safety issues on my unit. God bless you Oscar! Thanks for yourjob well done, it was beyond my expectations!” – Joey Valero ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026

“We pay 200.00 a year for 2x maintenance on 5 zoning splits, plus the heat pump. Staff is always very pleasant and professional. We have been very pleased with our whole Action experience. Love the splits/zoning air and heating Action installed two years ago. It gives us the ability to heat/cool individual rooms to personal tastes and I find the system very easy to operate and it quickly does the job of heating & cooling with no duct dust and the smell is fresher. We have also been surprised at the low utilities cost to run it ( we dont have solar yet).” – Mary Barrett ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026

Negative reviews:

“Action Air is a RIP OFF! I highly recommend any home owners to research what refrigerant and UV dye cost BEFORE you pay for a quote from Action Air. Our AC Unit was installed in 2021 (5 years ago). It stopped producing cool air so they came out an out new refrigerant in it, that fixed it for awhile. Then the cool air stopped again. They came back out once th warranty was over. The tech quoted $511 per pound of refrigerant and $350 for the UV dye. PLUS labor!! I went to the internet and found the exact same products that he showed me. See attached. UV dye is $128 for 28 oz. And refrigerant is $289 for a 25 lb cylinder. I understand these guys are trying to make money, I know how it goes. I run a small business as well. But this is purely unethical. We won’t be using action air again.” – Meghann Pricer-Smith ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 19, 2026

I guess a bad review is worth $200 to them. This is why I will never recommend or use Action Air again. Update, So I reached out to Action Air since I was notified in my review that they wanted to talk to me and reach an agreement. This was their response, pretty pathetic of them to use automated response’s!!! They don’t care even after I spoke to them by email here is their response I screenshotted.
