What Do Customers Say About the Bay Valley Roofing & Solar?

yelp.com

Positive reviews:

“Avery was fantastic at teaching us on the ins and outs of roofing/solar and making sure that all our concerns were addressed. He listened to what we were looking for and put a plan together that fulfilled all of our demands at a reasonable price. He also worked with engineers to help with a few specific issues that our house threw at us. Professionalism at its finest. Appreciate the attention to detail + hustle.” – Matt R. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 21, 2025

“Very satisfied with my new roof! Excellent quality. Ryan was a super big help throughout the whole process. Explained every little detail and what the costs would be. Would definitely recommend! Way to go Bay Valley Roofing!” – Gabriel P. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 10, 2024

Negative reviews:

“They used to have Bay Valley Roofing and Solar name on their biz cards. Hope they got rid of their roof repair estimator Gary Podaridis. That guy was a joke – showed up for a scheduled estimate without a ladder – twice. 1st time his excuse was, the co. doesn’t allow him to go on a roof after rain, as it might still be wet. Fair enough. 2nd time, the roof was totally dry, he came in a small collectible car and, to avoid questions, started complaining about some damage to it even before we got a chance to say hi. Never sent any formal estimate, but tried to give some numbers based on a couple of my own photos of the problem areas.” – Dersu U. ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 19, 2019

“I know this isn’t much related to the work or anything but maybe your company should invest in cameras for your trucks. Today at around 12pm on hwy 24 I was on my way to work when one of your company truck drivers was doing who knows what on their phone that almost cost me an accident. He didn’t look in his mirror or his blind spot, not even his turn signal was on and he pretty much cut me off really bad in which resulted me hitting my brakes like my life depended on it which it did and then after I had to quickly speed up because I had a semi behind me and I didn’t want to get rear ended or possibly worse. Maybe you guys should talk to your workers about texting and driving and possible consequences if they do not follow through because nothing may have happened to me but someone else may not be so lucky.” – Eva V. ⭐☆☆☆☆ June 28, 2017

Positive reviews:

“Outstanding service from start to finish. Arrived on time kept the work area clean and neat. All work done in a very professional manner, any unknowns handled with quick and positive adjustment. Highly recommen Bay Valley Roofing for your roofing needs.” – Albert Capparelli ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2026

“Outstanding experience overall. Nate was fantastic in the proposal and quoting process, clearly presenting the work to be done and representing the company very well. Ryan did a great job of managing the project while the work was done. The roof looks great and was done quickly with good cleanup of the property afterwards. Would recommend this company for their quality and service.” – J. Scott Madsen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 2026

Negative reviews:

“Raul is con man. Lies about wanting to help you. Then argues. All we wanted was an estimate. Not the run around. A complete waste of time. Glad we found out sooner, than later. You can see in his reply that he lies alot. Raul contacted my wife one time. Just two days after his visit. Not several times. Asking for a insurance declaration. Never once did he mention a sit down meeting for 2 actually contacted him and his office several times. We just wanted to move forward. Bottom line is they dropped the ball and are lying to minimize responsibility and cast blame. He knows he is wrong. That’s why he sends an apology.” – LJ Chambers ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2023

“I want to warn people to avoid this company based on their poor craftsmanship and even worse service. They replaced my roof 9 years ago and with the recent rains we noticed a leak which caused water damage in our attic that needed remediation. After contacting Bay View to have someone come out and assess the damage, I was told someone would get back to me with a quote the following day. Never heard from anyone but knew they were likely busy. After not hearing from anyone 3 days later, I began a series of 8 separate phone calls to find out the status of the quote and was told each time it would be fine the day after calling. After the 8th time, I called back and no one would return my call anymore. I finally had the work done by Clear View Roofing who did a terrific job overall and showed me pictures proving the leak had started years ago when the roof was replaced due to very poor workmanship. All that said, I called one last time using a different phone number to give them one final chance to acknowledge the poor follow-up before leaving them a bad review. I was called back immediately by Carlos who apologized and used the excuse that they’d been busy… however, I asked on several calls prior to tell me if they were too busy as I needed to get the leak addressed asap due to water coming in the house. Carlos asked to see my invoice and pictures of the repair work Clear Valley performed which I sent to him via email. He wanted to discuss with his boss and get back to me with their thoughts. He immediately acknowledged receipt after receiving my email. Never heard back from him again. He also sent me the quote I’d been waiting for which turned out to be $1,000 more than the actual repair Clear View performed. Therefore, I will never do business with such a bush-league and unprofessional company like Bay Valley Roofing again. And I would advise those looking for good work and good service to contact Raj at Clear View Roofing… they’re amazing!” – Jon G ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2024
