“BrightHome does not honor their commitments. They threw their salesman under the bus on a promise the company made to pay for 6 months of payments. The woman I spoke to in the office just threw the salesman under the bus and told me the salesman made the promise of 6 months of payments and BrightHome didn’t have to honor the arrangement. They said it has to come from the salesman. I said the salesman represents BrightHome and BrightHome should be responsible for the arrangement their salesman agreed to. “There are so many different solar companies out there and I had heard so many things that made me not want to make the leap from alarms to solar but this company made it painless! Offered us their best deal possible but decided to go with a different solar company and as soon as they found out turned out they could offer us even a better deal – felt a bit like haggling with a car dealership, very eager to get your service. Guess there was a limit on being able to cancel with the company. I figured since they didn’t do anything to our house and didn’t pull permits – I checked – or do anything really besides talk to some people, we would be able to cancel with no fees, but looks like we owe them over a thousand dollars for nothing really!! “I have notes of my experience with this company since first meeting with them in August of 2021. We have had numerous problems with them that still haven’t been resolved. We’ve had problems with professionalism, quality, reliability, broken tiles, delays, etc. We are still waiting for them to reimburse us for the cost of having to hire a professional roofer to fix our roof that they broke. We had to call the roofer because Bright Home came out 3 different times to fix it and they still couldn’t/didn’t. We’ve dealt with a lot of contractors after moving into our house and this one has been the worst so far.
