Brilliant Solar review

Negative reviews:

“Do not use this company if you are considering solar. I had my system installed by them and they did not follow through on their promises to pay referral bonus and signing bonus.I waited several months for my system to be installed and was told by a new project manager after 3 months of waiting the delay was most likely the original salesperson was not making enough commission, so he did not follow through on the project. Finally, the system was installed but the bonuses I was promised still have not been paid for several months, even though I was told they would be paid once my system went online. I have contacted my project manager and was told they need to be funded before payments can be made. It’s been two months, and three payments made by me and still no payment. He is no longer answering my text messages.I have reviewed other negative reviews about this company and their standard reply is we don’t have a record of the person as a client. I will provide a copy of my executed contract to anyone considering this company as proof they do not keep their promises. I would suggest you avoid them and find a reputable company.” – M. “I was promised incentives to offset the cost of my solar panels installed in 2024. Over a year later, I’ve received nothing but lies, deflection, and a runaround. The company continues to blame third parties while refusing to provide real answers or take any responsibility. Attempts to escalate have been blocked — no access to a manager, no names, no accountability. This feels like a systemic pattern of negligence. I would never recommend this company to anyone under any circumstance.” – Emerita V. ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 8, 2025

Positive reviews:

“I just had solar put on my roof and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Had such a great experience working with Bennet Schwartz. From start to finish, he answered all our questions and responded in a timely manner to all our needs and concerns. He was extremely professional and delivered quality service. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the job itself and how the solar panels look/layout. Highly recommend” – Jay Kemmerer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 2025

“When Carsten knocked on my door, I felt at ease. He introduced me to his manager Daniel Sowinski, who educated me on how much I was overpaying with a deregulated energy supplier and helped me remove it entirely. Daniel then walked me through the whole solar process from start to finish, even helping me move furniture to make the process comfortable. Even after installation, Brilliant Solar has followed through to make sure my system is operating. They have exceeded my expectations.” – Karen Michel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2024

Negative reviews:

“They took forever to install. Once the project was completed I never heard from them again. Now I’m having problems with my panels and nobody cares — they got their money. I have reached out to my salesman multiple times and not received a single callback, nor a breakdown of my project. I suggest people go somewhere else.” – Paul Farren ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025

“I got installed last month and have yet to be turned on. This company just seems to take their time and truly does not care about their clients. I went solar to save money and yet my system is not activated during the prime production period. I’m worried I’ll end up paying two bills — one to my electric provider and one for the solar loan.” – Michael Calisto ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025
