“We called Mark several years ago with some questions about solar heat for our pool. We instantly liked and trusted him and had the work done. If an issue came up regarding the equipment (which was rare), it was taken care of quickly. That’s so important—the service you receive AFTER the job is done. Since then, Cross Atlantic has installed a solar water heater and we just completed the installation of solar for our whole house. “Let me start of with I’m easy all it takes is a phone call. This company is a joke! Failed inspection, which delayed the installation. Left tools on the roof, debris around the house. NO communication, when I say no there was 0 people telling us when they were coming, no body knows what’s going on, they do not call you back, site manager was nowhere to be found. you have to constantly chase them, don’t even bother asking for the manager or the GM, they are clueless and dodge you. The experience was pitiful and extremely unprofessional. I HAD TO ACTIVATE MY OWN SYSTEM! Now I’m not sure if the system I was sold is adequate to net any electric. After our conversation I decided to go to their showroom in Deerfield for an in-person meeting. I am so glad that I did. They gave a full and transparent presentation of their products and services. After discussing my energy needs as well as financial considerations they decided to come to my property to do a survey as to what I have and what they can do for me. “Dont use this company , they charged me 300 for one year subscription then after a few months when i needed service they stopped answering my calls and emails . . also there is no way to remove my credit card from their server so i will probably need to cancel my card and get another one . they lied to me all along so i dont trust that they will stop auto billing me .Since ive been ripped off by 2 of these Fly by Night solar installers , ive contacted the manufacture of my system and found that they have self installer certification course on line . And it is FREE. I took the online course for installers and am now certified to repair and monitor my own system . it wasn’t too hard . “The ownership and management installed My original solar panels (2017) is different than the current owners of the company (2023). The original owners and employees were thorough & fast to respond. The current owners have 2 service/install techs. I was required to buy a membership in order for them to service my system since they did not honor the life time monitoring service that came with my 2017 CAS install.I have been waiting since March for a service on an inverted that lost connection to 1/3 of my panels, I’ve had 3 appointments that have been no-shows or rescheduled by CAS. In the meantime, I’m accruing a hefty electric bill every month, only one phone number people work from home and promise you service, but they don’t show up.
