Too many of the solar companies I contacted were all too willing to sell me a NEW system, very few were willing to help resolve the problems in a system created by “someone else”. The EFS on-staff engineering team was exceptional in troubleshooting the root of the system problem I had encountered and worked to achieve a resolution to the problem. “We had our system installed three years ago and what I appreciate the most is that their projections were practically spot on. I expected a vast oversell, but they were on the money. About 18 months in, our inverter died. I didn’t catch that until a couple of weeks later, but as I called in, they said the part had arrived. “They chase you to get the contract and pay $2000 for a non-refundable deposit and sign an LOI. After I paid the deposit and they did a site visit, I did not hear from anyone and there was absolutely no communication. After I ended up getting a hold of them, they said the agreed price would most likely increase. I tried to get my $2000 deposit back and I had to chase them and even spoke with the owner.
