What Do Customers Say About the EightTwenty?

Positive reviews:

“EightTwenty did a fantastic job for us. Communication was great all the way through. I didn’t feel like I was being sold – I felt like I was being helped to make the best decision. Highly recommend.” – OKC Guy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 20, 2023

“I’ve been exploring the idea of adding solar to our home for a while, but was not sure if it made the most sense for me. I finally made the decision to start talking with some local companies and reached out to Ross and EightTwenty as I had previous interactions with him and their staff. Ross was quick to take the information I provided with our energy usage, our home layout and have their team come up with a plan that would give us the best results. Ross and their team stayed in close contact, explained the specific details around the process, from getting our financing approved to working with the city and HOA for needed contracts for install, to getting the install scheduled and completed. The install itself was smooth and quickly done and outside of the panels on the roof their cleanup efforts were superb leaving no sign they were ever there. Even when our city took forever to get the inspection done (their team sat at our house for 3 days waiting for calls back from the city that never came), Ross and Josh at EightTwenty were great about communicating with us about what was being done and what to expect. Overall, it was a great experience, clear and concise communication, and would happily recommend their company to anyone seeking to add solar to their home!” – Chris ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 8, 2024

Negative reviews:

“Took a week to return my call (because they’re “very busy”). Then required $199 for troubleshooting of a part under warranty. I instead called the manufacturer who charged me nothing for troubleshooting and replacing the defective part.” – Charles ⭐⭐☆☆☆ July 21, 2026

Google Reviews

Positive reviews:

“These guys are top performers and deliver the best work – 100%. I have used other solar companies that are expensive and do poor quality work. The EightTwenty guys are professional, they know what they’re doing and walk you through the process in case there are any questions. They got my panels working and in order and now I can clearly see how much energy the are producing, I’m very pleased with the results. I plan to continue using EightTwenty as long as my house has solar panels.” – Rick Rivera ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 2026

“We called Eight Twenty when our solar stopped working. They sent a service technician who identified and fixed the problem in less than an hour. Excellent service and explanation of the problem.” – Edie Marsh-Matthews ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 2026

Negative reviews:

“Wanted $199 to troubleshoot a faulty part under warranty and didn’t tell me that the manufacturer would troubleshoot and replace the part for free. Also, charged $8000 just to remove the panels and put them back on as I was replacing my roof shingles.” – Charles de Coune ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 2026

“Met with the crew at the home show in Springdale Arkansas, set a meeting for May 10th 6 PM as of 7 PM no call no show, at the home show they didn’t even have any Business cards or didn’t even give me a phone number to contact them. All i got was a sticker with the date and time on it.” – mark ogiela ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2022
