What Do Customers Say About the EnergyAid?
Positive reviews:

“Geo our EnergyAid technician was awesome !!!He was on time and very thorough with his service !!! He was friendly and explained everything he did in layman’s terms that were clear and easy to understand. We received an emailed follow up report that was extremely detailed. We would use them again and would highly recommend them, especially Geo !!!” – Joe S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 26, 2024
Negative reviews:
“I Made the appointment , for a standard procedure cleaning and maintenance appt . , I thought it would be fine id pay the 399, and get it done ,then i got the follow up texts That said I should pay and then they wll get back to me in two days with a report after they come and see it … I guess thats when they jack you up . I cancelled and got another company that came did the cleaning and 21 point check for 250.00 and got my system all maintained w/o any BS. Energy aid is shifty – hard pass- Nobody like a rip off.” – Tony M. ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 9, 2026
“I contacted this company because my Solaredge Inverter died and I was receiving a new one from the manufacturer that I needed installed. I called three companies, and this one was one of them. The other 2 companies gave me quotes on how much it would be, but this company said that they charge an upfront cost of ~$200 that would be applied to the install cost. I politely declined as I did not want to be bait and switched. After that, they called me five different times (all new call reps). On the 4th call, I told the person that if they called again I would write a bad review. I got the 5th call, and here I am. If I get another one, they will see another bad review on other sites. If they call after that, I will have to call them back and really give them the feedback they deserve. This company does not seem trustworthy…I would stay away…” – A T M. ⭐☆☆☆☆ October 3, 2025
Negative reviews:
“DO NOT DO business with this company. They have been jacking us around for 3 months and our solar is still not fixed. They are totally incompetent and can not keep track of the work that they have done or not finished. After 2 months of me calling the tech came out and installed the new inverter on our wall but did not have the correct wires to finish the job. It has been another month and they still haven’t scheduled his return to finish the job. I call every day and get no where. My husband has talked to the area director who is the area director and still we have not gotten any results. They promise to call back and never do. I had to leave one star because this site requires it. They deserve minus 10 stars!” – Karen C ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 2, 2024
“Did not bring required equipment. They have sent repair crews to fix our solar power system 4 times over a 6 month period of time. Still have not fixed it. The last time, 11-15-23, they showed up without a scissors lift to get on our 3-story roof. The scissors lift had been specified on the work order and in emails with them and Sunpower. Without the lift, they just packed up and left. Worst service we have ever experienced from a utility company. It takes 4-6 weeks to reschedule, so when that happens, it will be 9 months that our solar system will have been down at a cost to us of about $2,700 to purchase electricity from the grid.” – Walter R ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 15, 2023
Positive reviews:
“prompt and professional their rates were very reasonable I’m very happy to be connected with them.” – Thomas L. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 2026
“Shout out to Sergio and Ishaq. They both were amazing to work with. They understood my needs and worked with me to get my solar panels corrected. I can’t emphasize how refreshing it was to work with two very polite gentleman. EnergyAid will definitely be my solar panel go-to place!” – Rhonda G. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 2025
Negative reviews:
“This is the worst company to have solar with . I’ve had issue after issue with the battery and it’s taken over 5 months to get a new one . New one is installed but I’m having difficulty on a daily basis. Not a good company with quality batteries” – Adriana C. ⭐☆☆☆☆ October 2025
“It would be wise to not sign an agreement nor pay upfront before doing a little research on what the job entails. In haste, I did’t do any research before committing to the agreement and paying the full amount. In retrospect, I should have waited until I checked all the angles before committing to the job, I would have save over $700 on this project.” – Wen S. ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 2025
Positive reviews:
“Great experience and did not feel they were trying to sell me something I did not need. I was thinking my brakes were bad, but they let me know there was plenty of pad ob all 4 breaks.” – Michael W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
“Supreme! Very happy with the tech and service provided today. Tech was knowledgeable and professional. TheTech answered all of my questions and gave good feedback. I was confident in the service.” – Jessica B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
Positive reviews:
“I am a C46 (solar) contractor myself, so I am possibly the worst client for Anthony (tech) and Energy Aid, however, I needed troubleshooting and potential repairs. Anthony showed up on time, was very knowledgable, took apart the inverter and entire system, even checked a second PV system I have. Top notch all the way. He was quick, professional, a nice guy and I would highly recommend him and Energy Aid” – Frank Gamwell ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 17, 2026
“They arrived on time, tech was familiar with our equiptment and the manufacturer and their warrenty process.” – Scott Frayer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 13, 2026
Negative reviews:
“This service was for an ‘inspection’ for a know problem, and a report was to be delivered. The rep was initially unable to identify the issue, and the final report had 2 major flaws.” – Vijay Anand ⭐☆☆☆☆ January 2026
“Only 3panels removed no hardware. And replaced no hardware. I feel like they overcharge 2,800 dollars 12 bolts 8 plugs at most. Way too much money for so little work. Better business bureau needs to take a hard look at this company.” – Edmundo Ramirez ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2024
