From the start to the finish of installation Casey Winger with Gardner Energy helped make the process easy, clear, and cost-effective for me and my family. From trying to sift through several quotes from several vendors Casey was there to answer questions and help me make good decisions. He even helped my son-in-law get out of a poor contract with another company. The installation team was great, fast, and conscientious in getting it the system installed within a couple of days. I waited a few weeks to have the power company come out and get me switched over but finally, it was all worked out. “The one positive: You will learn a great deal about power generation and how renewable energy can act as a solution for commercial businesses, utility providers and residential homeowners. Gardner Energy is also one of the oldest solar providers in Utah and for the longest time, it was considered the trusted place to go for renewable energy solutions. Unfortunately, the company has gone through several top end managers that were not up to the task of running a solar company. Turnover has been a big problem due to employees not feeling valued along with sales people constantly being micromanaged. From there, everyone at the company impressed me; from Derek who first surveyed the site to Parker who managed the project. But perhaps most pleasing was how well the install crew did their work. “I hired Gardner to install a costly array of solar panels. The energy output of the panels is significantly less than what was promised, and my energy bills are still very high. They also added a Tesla battery pack, to enhance energy storage for usage at night and during power outages. But when the power goes off, the battery pack doesn’t kick in as it’s meant to. Despite numerous phone calls with Gardner, the problem remains unresolved. On at least two occasions, they have promised action, but they never follow up with me. “An employee driving their company logo vehicle flipped me the bird while I was parking in front of their building. I am a female and had 9 year old kids with me. I then notified the management to make them aware of how they are being represented. Not a good look for a company. Especially this conduct while driving their company logo vehicle. As a business owner for the past 15+ years, I would want to be notified. Management seemed to make light of the situation. I definitely will not be using this company.
