“Gurr Brothers replaced the underlayment on our roof in 2021. In 2026 we sold our house and the inspection came back showing several rows of tiles were not even nailed down and the underlayment material was a combination of old and new. “Worst rebuild contractor experience I could have ever imagined. They destroyed my kitchen and have since been nonresponsive and unwilling to take any accountability. They originally failed to show me or send me any previews or drawings prior to installing the cabinets, leading to massive build discrepancies and cabinets that do not fit the spaces in our kitchen. We appreciated their efforts to trap a large female raccoon who had chewed through the soffit on our roof to get into our attic. They were committed to trapping the female and caring for the babies. “My brother and his wife were flooded August 2021 in REMOVED. REMOVEDBrothers of REMOVED, REMOVEDhas been working with them since the flood including storage of household furnishings and clothing. Refurbishing and repair started in at least July of 2022 with REMOVEDBrothers. It is still not completed in spite of numerous promises of completion for the past 2 years.My brother passed away in November of 2022 and his wife has been burdened with trying to work and communicate with this unreliable contractor REMOVEDBrothers of Mesa, REMOVED. This has resulted in the continued storage cost of all the household items and clothing. Sad to say it still isn’t complete. “This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a local company. Had Gurr brothers referred from their sister company from flood damage. I was optimistic given the positive reviews. However, the rebuild process was beyond frustrating. Extremely poor communication with their rep during the entire process. Each job had to be done twice and they had poor communication with their chosen subs. Has contractors show up and not have any knowledge of the work they were doing only for the Gurr brothers rep to show up later to explain to them. The first painting crew didn’t blend and the entire ceiling and wall had to be repainted. The first crew to lay carpet put small patches of padding down and a second crew had to come out. Things were fixed however it led to the process taking over 2 months. The job got done but from the poor communication, pleading multiple times, and almost all of the work needing to be done twice. When billing came due they sent the wrong bill amount even after having all the needed information, they wouldn’t answer phone calls or return any missed calls.
