MAD Energy NW review

Positive reviews:

“Mike Dalton is one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met in regards to Solar and is INCREDIBLY motivated to get the sun to pay for your energy. Incredibly responsive, professional and punctual. Please do yourself a favor and let Mike and his crew show you how you can benefit from Solar and start getting PSE to pay you!” – jsavallos ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 30, 2022

“I had a great experience with the team at MAD Energy NW. They were able to answer all my questions, had great advice on the best way to configure and install my home solar installation, and were fast on getting the system up and running. After the install they cleaned up everything (leaving the site looking better than before), walked me through the online tools for how to monitor the system, and checked in with me over the first few weeks and months to ensure all was working well. Happy to recommend them and would gladly call them again. Thanks, Mat” – philipsenm ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 11, 2021

Positive reviews:

“Another storm and another emergency electrical repair job, so another call to MAD Energy. This time the damage to our house was more extensive, requiring multiple contractors. Of the bunch, MAD Energy stood out as the most responsive and the most reliable. Following this latest incident, Mike has also been very helpful exploring our options to mitigate the risk of future storms.” – Adam N. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 13, 2025

“They were great to work with, we had a swim spa installed and thought while we were at it we’d add extra outlets and conduit for 12 volt lighting. They were in time, on budget and very easy to reach. Would use them again in a heartbeat” – Jayne B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 25, 2021

Negative reviews:

“This one declined to take my project for fear that he might cause damage to my unit on the basis of unusual aspects of my condo.” – Marshall C. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ January 28, 2026

Positive reviews:

“Mad energy was a pleasure to work with. They sent the A-Team out to my place. They’re very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It was a joy and a pleasure having them in my home. While they installed my new solar system The price was very reasonable. I am 100% happy with the system. I highly recommend them!!!” – Lance Hooker ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 2026

“MAD Energy was great to work with for an electric car charger. They worked fast and they even arranged for the city inspector to come. Everything was approved and their work looks great.” – JOSH NIEHAUS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 2026

Negative reviews:

“We wanted to have solar installation to take advantage of the last year of the 30% tax credit and I setup an appt with MAD Energy around July. The initial meeting went well and we decided to go with them. They said that we will get the install before the end of the year. So the salesman told us to apply for credit at their CU Bank and we did. We got the loan approved after two weeks. Now, setting up the installation date became a problem. They kept me waiting for an update two weeks at a time that goes on and on with excuses with their crew’s scheduling, vacations, holidays and even talking with their owner while assuring me that we are already on the list to get installed before the end of this year. When we sensed that we are just getting led on, after those every two weeks of waiting became months, we decided to look for another company that is more true to their words. We just thank God that we did find one after scrambling to find one. Now, we are getting solar this mid November.” – Ivan Fernandez ⭐☆☆☆☆ December 2025
