“Malama Solar was referred to me from my coworker. There was already a PV system on the home when we purchased it, but it wasn’t enough panels and didn’t have batteries. Even with the old system, we were still paying a 250ish electric bill because I have an electric car. Malama helped install additional panels and backup batteries. The panels work, but the system isn’t set up to feed power back to the grid because they never finished the final approval with Hawaiian Electric.
