“I was very pleased with my whole experience with Newport Solar. Everyone that I dealt with was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. From the time that I contacted them, they quickly performed a remote analysis of my roof, so I didn’t even need to be home to find out if my roof was suited for solar panels. Much of my communication with them was via email, and they always responded in a timely manner. I did have to wait several months from the time that I agreed to have the panels installed until they were actually installed, but that was because they had to wait for the state to come through with the next round of grants to help reduce the cost. The panels have now been installed and I am very pleased with the results. I can monitor the electric output of the panels via a web page. “Just had a fairly straightforward conversation with a sales rep at Newport solar named Tim telling me that they have no availability for the rest of the year to add additional 3K of solar on my roof. I guarantee his straightforwardness is genuine, not trying to diss him for anything, but they really shouldn’t be promoting the business or even trying to take out any customers right now cause they’re backed up at least 3 to 4 months per what he says so I appreciate the honesty but you know it’s great to have a business, glad they’re so busy but when he asked me, who’s the competitors that have availability this year? It kinda gives me a weird feeling so wish Newport the best but didn’t have a really good conversation and really feel like if they’re gonna sell the business And start with a new owner which I guess they have over the last six months they could do a little bit better on customer service that’s my point.” – Kevin P. ⭐☆☆☆☆ October 2, 2025
