We did have some hiccups along the way with installation but NJ Solar Power has always been very easy to reach and worked quickly to rectify any issues. The panels look great and are working well. “The problem with this company is communication and following up on issues. As a customer it is not my responsibility to continuously check in on issues that occurs with a business. I live in a new build home and during the install the workers spilt tar on my front steps. I was understanding and calm and said no worries just fix it. It has been 40 plus days of no solution and the excuses I get from them is “we’re busy and it’s been really hot”. I’m sorry but your company works in the summer months if you can’t handle being busy and communicating with customers then maybe this isn’t the right line of work for you. I am a director of operations and I deal with clients, brokers, vendors, and tenants 24/7 and the most important thing is communication. I can say I never in my life have dealt with a worse company with communication. How do you destroy someone’s front steps then not respond for weeks, make the customer continuously reach out to then tell them it’s “fucking 100 degrees out” and threaten to hang up on them without a solution. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all. It has been since July 4th weekend and I still have no resolution when I was told by today there would be one. On top of that I still have no solar the excuse this time was the plumbing inspector is a hard ass they normally never need a permit, but I’m sorry you work in Bayville how do you not know this ahead of time. “This is hands down the worst company I’ve ever worked with. I have never left a review like this before, but I have also never felt this frustrated and hopeless in my life. They took our money and disappeared. It’s been months since our brand new roof started leaking, and all we get are excuses. No updates, no accountability, just delay after delay. We discovered an open gap under the shingles and drip edge near the gutter, water can get in easily, and you can literally see daylight from inside the attic (see photos). This is basic roofing work that should’ve been done right the first time especially after installing solar panels. Avoid the headache. Don’t deal with this company.
