They are one of only a few certified installers for the solar panel manufacturer, a big plus to check on with any company you consider. Perihelion will give you a straightforward proposal to install solar at a great price without any confusing financial entanglements. Does not offer lower than market rate loan interest, with you actually paying the real interest up front in the system price. They can refer you to solar friendly financing if needed. Keeping these separate makes it much easier to understand the actual cost of a system. “Office staff (Missami) held my hand the whole way. The timeline was as predicted give or take a few days. The only holdup was due to my electric provider and they (not me) did the leg work to resolve any issue. The installers were on time, the work went fast and the lead installer/electrician took all the time necessary to make me feel good about the whole process. My panels, which look great, have been operational for 5 months now with no issues. My electric bill went from $300 in July to $13.16 in August and has been that every month. “I STRONGLY recommend Perihelion Solar for your solar system. My Background: I’m a mechanical engineer with a business degree and 40 years of industry experience with product design, testing, analysis, support, and project management. I did a great deal of research on solar, panel makes/models, design options, providers, etc. before choosing Perihelion. Their proposal was similar in price to another that I had received, BUT their design was superior in several ways. Although Perihelion is a small Arkansas-based provider, they more than make up for that by being passionate about “”doing solar right””. Owner Andy and salesperson Jill were very thorough in answering my (many) questions about Perihelion, how to optimize my design, after sales support, warranty, contract, etc. Heath and his panel install team were amazing – their attention to detail showed. Heath was happy to let me observe the install and answered any/all my questions during the install. Wes performed the electrical/control box install and was outstanding. He encountered an issue with the local utility requirements and spent considerable extra time, expense, and installed extra equipment to meet the utility requirements (and at Perihelion expense!). He too was great to work with, explained the design details, and answered all my questions. I’ve had a few questions after my system was installed, and Jill and team have been very responsive. It’s clear they truly want me to be a satisfied customer. The personal touch/support is one reason I chose a smaller solar provider and they’ve proven that to be a good decision. Bottom line: If you are looking for a solar provider that is passionate about solar and will provide you with a superior design, install, and post-sales support, I highly recommend Perihelion Solar.
