“Preman roofing has not even started our project yet, but it’s already been an obstacle trying to get someone to communicate with us in regards to specifics with our roofing and solar. We have called everyday for information, and to try to finalize a start date for the project, and after multiple phone calls no one has reached out to us. The receptionist continues to say “I’ll have my manager reach out to you” but that NEVER happens. We end up having to call the next day and repeat the whole conversation again. It’s frustrating how when signing contracts and placing a deposit, they are all so attentive. But after that phase is done, it’s like you fall to the bottom of their priority list. “Most of the people working at the office are nice. There is really no structure. Unorganized and no one knows what they’re doing apparently. I just got laid off due to being slow, they claimed they never laid off anyone in the past but it seems there was like 2-3 people doing the same job as me prior so I believe they just hire temp people and then lay off when business slows down, and hire again when needed.My supervisor had a sales role but he never followed up on the sales calls, I was basically doing his job while he was making excel spreadsheets and stuff that had nothing to do with his actual job. They have a receptionist that apparently it’s a CSR as well but she’s also just running around the office and not really helping.So they laid me off, no notice, no severance like they didn’t care.Upper management/owners look sketchy and 2 faced.” – Client Support Representative ⭐⭐☆☆☆ January 27, 2025

“I received the estimate and was told up front if board needs to be replaced there will be additional charges. I understood that. The original estimate was $21000.00. It took the owner of the company over a month to approve the contract. The job was delayed. When the job was completed I did ask if they insulated the whole roof as was in the contract. I was told no, only a portion. They sent Danny out to address the insulation problem. He told me I am going to have to pay for the tear off, for their mistake! I had to pay for the roof to be torn off, the insulation and then another roof put on. That cost me an additional $21000.00. The whole bill came to over $50000.00. This due to no fault of my own. I had to pay for their mistake and I don’t feel this is fair. They left a lot of debris around, because the workers were given limited time for clean up. I had to clean it up. I had to keep reminding them not to drive the dump truck over my septic tank. These are safety issues that they should have been aware of. The wood they used was infested with termites, when I addressed this with them they gave me a $500.00 discount. Danny said to just paint the ceiling and I won’t have any problem with the termites. I would not use this company again. I tell everyone not to use this company. I want to add, the workers themselves did a great job. “Competitive pricing, that’s where the good things end with Preman Roofing. We paid over $30,000 for a new roof 1 1/2 years ago. 2 leaks appeared during the first rainstorm. We called for a warranty repair (10-years warranty by Preman). They came up with a ridiculously lame excuse to avoid doing a minor patch that would have fixed the issue (I know it can be repaired easily since I am a general contractor). They completely ignored my emails and calls, just as mentioned in another posted review. Now I am at an impasse; do I continue spending the time trying to get them to do the repair, do I give them the perfect excuse to void the warranty by doing the repair myself, or do I live with the leaks in my roof?!” – Mark ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2024
