“I told them I needed an inverter replaced a month ago. The error code literally said it needed to be replaced. They told me they would have to inspect it themselves and charge me $295 for the service. Unsurprisingly, they’re very knowledgeable tech informed us that we needed our inverter replaced. We got an invoice and paid over $2 thousand fora new inverter for them to order for us. To this date, they still haven’t gotten back to us about the status of our inverter. “Previous owners recommended Solar Service. The initial cleaning went fine and was very informative. I requested an estimate for adding battery backup. The sales person basically told me that SolarEdge was a failure when it comes to batteries and that I needed to replace my 4-year-old system with Enphase unit in order to ‘do it right’. “Mr. Britt was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Polite and answered all my questions. Promote him ahead of peers.Only down side is cost. I’m not sure how it’s broken down but it seems like the standard rate is $500 and can go up from there. My question is what if the labor and COMs is lower than the $500. Do you get reimbursed?
