What Do Customers Say About the Solarize?
Positive reviews:
“Solarize was outstanding. They said what they would do, which must have been an under promise, because they over delivered in every way. Wilson the sales guy wasn’t high pressure like a lot of the solar company sales I have talked to. And since I have had my panels everything has been working great. No roof leaks, panels are producing well and I’m very happy with the customer service I have been given.” – Brent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 27, 2023
“I spoke with several Solar companies prior to deciding to go with Solarize. Our Sales rep was AMAZING. He really spent a lot of time explaining everything, crunching numbers, looking at our energy bills, everything to ensure we were making the right choice. Once the ball got rolling it was very speedy. They took care of everything from HOA approval, city permits, and updating the electrical company. The technicians were all very nice, respectful and communicative! Always kept up keep me informed through the entire process! Overly impressed with the entire experience!” – Sahildebrandt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 27, 2023
Positive reviews:
“Great experience with Solarize. Our rep was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had previously looked into another solar company, but we are so happy we went with Solarize. The system was significantly more affordable, included a battery and would be installed in half the time.” – Cristy D. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 24, 2025
“Solarize installed solar panels at our home in December 2022 and they are currently installing battery backup. As soon as I became aware of batteries that work both when the grid is functioning and when it is down, I called Mcneal Uwajeh, our salesman. A month later the batteries are being installed. The 30% federal tax credit was a nice bonus and very easy to request. We will receive the same 30% tax credit on our battery backup. Our rep worked tirelessly to work through the hoops required by our community. We live in an historical district which required an additional layer of applications and meetings. Our rep never lost his sense of humor with the tedious process. After getting bids from over the phone from other solar companies, I decided to contact Solarize, a local company. They fulfill what they promise and leave a clean job site.” – Mary G. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 4, 2024
Positive reviews:
“We almost went with Sunrun and luckily McNeal and Emmanuel Uwajeh came by and helped us look things over. Sunrun offered a Span panel and everything and after they looked it over we found the Span panel we were promised was not even in the contract. They also proved panels with more kw for our home and two Tesla batteries instead of one we were getting with Sunrun. I asked Sunrun about the Span panel, and the difference in kw hours between theirs and Solarize, and to get some clarity on things. It took weeks for Sunrun to even respond and they offered me a $2000 credit and did not even address my issue. By the time Sunrun contacted me our solar panels and batteries were already installed and up and working. McNeal and Emmanuel have been with us every step of the way, came by our house if needed, and always responded promptly. They also could answer every question we threw at them and know what they’re doing. We even had Sunrun in California but glad we went with Solarize instead. They don’t sugar coat anything and were 100% transparent with EVERYTHING. Highly recommend using them over Sunrun!” – Evan Merems ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026
“We had a great experience working with Lance from Solarize. He was extremely informative and patient with us while we are making such a big decision about switching to solar energy. Lance took the time to walk us through every detail, answered all of our questions, and made sure we truly understood everything “to a T.” At no point did we feel rushed or pressured—just supported and educated so we could make the best choice for our home and family. If you’re considering solar and want someone who is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about helping you understand the process, we highly recommend working with Lance.” – Polo Tapia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026
Negative reviews:
“Whatever you don’t do, don’t get solar panels on your home! It will make your home harder to sell and roof damage a pain to repair. Oncor is paying less and less every year for solar energy as the market gets saturated with solar energy, save yourself the frustration!!” – Bradley Livingston ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025
“If I could leave a zero star review I would! I had signed up for a PPA with the Tesla battery program in Texas. A salesman from Solarize found my information online and showed up at my door lying to me and trying to scare me into switching over to their company. They didn’t even offer the program that I was already set up with. Very shady tactics.” – Chase Bulkley ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 2025
