“We signed a contract in the first part of Aug. after being told they would start right away. the contract said usually 3 days. Three months latter after numerous calls most of which were not returned ,I finally got someone to answer the phone and they scheduled installation in a week. (Nov 7&8). I was told by the installers that it would be 2 days to 2 weeks before it would be turned on. A month latter I got a document from Steel City that was for the utility co. to install the net meter to turn the system on. This agreement was going to limit our production to 120% of last years usage. State law allows 200%. I was told we would have 200% by Mike the salesman and the system is designed for it. I called Steel City to tell them that clause needed to be changed. They told me I had to call the utility co. even though the contract says “they will process all utility interconnection documentation. I called the utility co. and they told me I had to call Steel City. I have called Steel City 5 times over the last week and they won’t return the call. “Looking into expanding my existing solar system. I’m a partially deaf disabled veteran, making calls is not possible. After making attempts to make contact by email without response, I filed a complaint through the BBB, where, after making another complaint about them not responding to the original complaint, they finally responded by telling lies that I made no attempts to make contact, as if I just write unfounded complaints for no reason! Till this day they have no attempt to make reasonable contact, nor be anywhere accommodating to disabilities and continue to ignore any communication.
