“When my wife and I decided to research installing solar panels on our new home I contacted 3 different companies. Yuma solar (Jennifer) was the most responsive in providing answers to our questions in a manner that we could understand. Jennifer walked us through the process, and kept us informed throughout. Through the self monitoring system Yuma Solar provided, we found 1 panel that was performing at 60%. We reported this to Jennifer and the panel was replaced within 1 week. Yuma solar provided the best system for the price and rapidly responded to our calls and emails. The 2 competing companies offered products that were not as highly rated, and I called and emailed them more than they called and emailed me. My monthly electric bill from APS now averages $23. “I called today, Friday, 6/20/2025, to see if they can help with servicing my solar panels that were not registering any activity. First my Husband called and spoke to Nora and said that they would need to send us a Link in order to help, so I called and whoever answered the call was Rude said well Nora has not sent anything to me so go ahead and give me your information, she took down my name, phone number and email and said she will send me the information, and up to now 8:30 pm I have not received any information from them, I called today, Friday, June 20, 2025, to get assistance with my solar panels, which are not registering any activity. First, my husband spoke with Nora, who mentioned that they would need to send us a link to help. When I called, the person who answered was rude and said that Nora had not sent anything to her. She asked for my information, so I provided my name, phone number, and email. She assured me she would send the information. “Solar panels are a big expense, so I did my homework. Yuma Solar is a local, family owned business that has an A+ rating from BBB. They offer all of the services the others do including 0 down, Federal and State tax credits (if you don’t qualify for the tax credits they’ll work with you), long term low rate financing, even 5 year payback with 0 interest. The one thing Yuma Solar has, the others don’t is Jennifer. She will generally be your first contact. Jennifer is knowledgeable on all aspects of the process. She makes the whole process understandable, even easy. She answered all my questions (I had many), made sure I knew what was going on and when. She even gives a notebook with pictures to understand the system, trouble shoot problems, and fix minor issues. When a problem occurred, the parts were replaced under warranty without so much as a phone call from me. The online monitoring system ran into a problem on my end, Jennifer was not deterred, she worked to get the issue fixed to the end. It took months! She could’ve just told me to get the problem fixed and call her, but no she made sure my problem was fixed so she could install the system before her job was done. “We met with Jennifer who researched our electric usage and determined the size of system we required. Yuma Solar provided us with a detailed bid sheet for two possible options for us to consider. We met again with Jennifer to answer questions. Solar took care of all the permitting and made all of the arrangements, including the APS rebate. They arranged for 12 months same as cash to allow us to realize the tax credit before we pay the bill. The work was done in a very timely manner and also in a very professional manner. We expected not to turn the system on before mid may but the switch was thrown on April 17. “I’m absolutely blown away by my experience with Yuma Solar, and particularly with their incredible salesperson, Jennifer! After 15 months of exhaustive research and gathering quotes from about five different solar companies, Yuma Solar consistently offered not just the best price, but also the best equipment by far. As someone who does a ton of research, I admit I can be a challenging client. My ideas for configurations and optimal setups were constantly evolving. Yet, through every single change and question over more than a year, Jennifer remained exceptionally patient and professional. Her dedication and understanding were truly remarkable.
