Green Planet Solar Systems review

Positive reviews:

“It’s hard to find folks that do a good job at a reasonable price. Green Planet Solar is one of them. They replaced the leaky tank on our solar hot water system with a Rheem Solaraide, The company with the next best offer wanted 75% more and were going to use an inferior tank. Some wanted as much as $199 just to come out and give an estimate.” – Wayne B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 20, 2025

“Another Great experience with Greg from Green Planet solar Systems! Greg is so accommodating to my every need! He is the little guy that shows up when he says he will and always does a wonderful job. Thank you so much Greg for your service with my pool panels!!!” – Pamela S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 24, 2024

Negative reviews:

“Would not recommend. Purchased a rooftop solar system through Greg. Took 5 months to install and ultimately delayed my tax rebate a year. Now a year later the equipment has been offline for two months, accumulating two months of electricity bills. Greg refused to send a technician to fix the issue. Greg’s communication was poor and unprofessional. If this was any product I would have returned it already.” – Bobby P. ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 23, 2022

“They do great work, the only thing is they are messy they don’t like take the garbage with them. They expect you to deal with the garbage. For the price you pay you think they leave everything the way they found it. (CLEAN).” – Gregory A. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ December 19, 2020

Positive reviews:

“I am really delighted with the service of the solar pool heating system. The staff was professional, knowledgable and performed an excellent job. They were responsive, they explained everything thoroughly and made sure the system was running correctly. My pool is far more comfortable and fun today, particularly for the children. Love the amazing service and would highly suggest to anybody in the market for solar pool heating!” – Andrea Nguyen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 25, 2026

“I work with a roofing company and many clients of mine have used Green Planet for their detach and reset needs while getting a new roof. He’s very reasonably priced and has great communication. Ask for Greg!! He’s awesome.” – Sarah Blomfield ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 2026

Negative reviews:

“Post-hurricane repairs included a new roof, so the Solar Pool Heating System had to be removed and re-installed. Green Planet was expensive but prompt, removing the system quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, after re-installing the panels on the roof, there was now a leak. Worse yet, when I engaged the system, I found it didn’t work at all. I called, asking them to come back and fix it, and their response was an invoice for their return visit. Their sole focus was getting more money, instead of customer satisfaction. Now, 2 months later, one of the panels has come loose from the roof. These guys don’t know what they’re doing.” – Tom Sivak ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025

“Jeff Glass, I’m so very surprised by your note on having your pool heating system installed 3 months ago – I was told, by Greg, that he didnt have the pool panels and was waiting for them, this was at least 6 months ago ! YES ,, he has NEVER contacted me, returned my calls, or EVEN bothered to let me know there was any delay at all, and look here, you had yours installed 3 months ago ! Guess he already spent the money I paid 1.5 years ago and doesnt want to bother to reach into his own company pool to contribute into doing the right thing for me. I WILL NEVER recommend him to any person I know across Florida . BARBARA” – Barbara Kostenko ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2024
